TFCC is a non-profit organization, a part of The Institute of Agro-Based Industries, F.T.I.

TFCC originated from the integration of economic timber stakeholder groups. It consists of farmers, the private sector, academics, the government and state enterprises. It gives importance to the certification system of economic timber in Thailand to be recognized internationally and supporting sustainable and legal economic logging.
The Office was elected as a member of PEFC as the National Governing Body (NGB) in November 2016.
